Duties & Responsibilities:

Key tasks:

• Introduction of NPD into manufacturing within time and budget constraints
• Provision of new facilities to support our aggressive NPD programme
• Supporting Manufacturing Manager with Continuous Improvement Activities
• Product / Process improvement across Midpoint facilities
• Work Study to establish standard times
• Experience:
• Engineering professional with a proven track record in the above tasks
• Background in fast-moving consumer goods
• Design of factory and production layouts and procurement of special-purpose machinery and production lines
• An excellent understanding of Assembly techniques
• Examples of leading project teams and delivering results
• Demonstrates teamwork and cooperation to achieve business objectives
• Introducing a culture of continuous improvement and cost reduction
• World Class Manufacturing techniques
• High volume assembly techniques incl DFA (Design for Assembly)

• 3+ years in a FMCG manufacturing environment
• Design of factory and production layouts and procurement of special purpose assembly machinery and production lines
• Design and Draw fixtures and tooling

• Demonstrable planning and task completion
• Highly motivated, self-starter
