Job Description:
As Trade Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales growth with our trade customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage relationships with key stakeholders, and implement initiatives that align with the company’s overall marketing and sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Marketing Strategy:
- Work with the Marketing Manager in developing and executing effective trade marketing activities to support the company’s sales goals and overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing and commercial teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all channels, aligning trade marketing initiatives with overall business strategies.
Retailer Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers (e.g., Amazon), understanding their needs and working collaboratively to develop joint marketing activities.
- Support the marketing team in ensuring Hozelock product data and media assets are accurate, relevant, and support customers and retailers to maximise presence across their touchpoints.
Campaign Development and Execution:
- Work with the Marketing Manager and commercial team on planning, executing, and evaluating trade marketing campaigns, including in-store promotions, product launches, advertising, and special events.
- Work cross-functionally with the UK and International teams on internal communications.
- Manage and deliver Trade Show Exhibitions, including cost & location, marketing collateral, attendees, transportation, stand design, and build.
- Support in the development, creation, and production of trade and POS catalogues for the UK & International Markets.
- Contribute to ongoing management and delivery of trade social media plans.
Market Analysis:
- Support with conducting market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour.
- Utilise trading numbers and insights to understand brand performance, identify new opportunities, and make data-driven recommendations for improving marketing effectiveness.
Budget Management:
- Work with the Marketing Manager to ensure any projects and campaigns are delivered on time and in budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximise ROI.
- Track and report on campaign performance, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to marketing and sales activities.
- Manage and support marketing processes, contributing to ad-hoc projects as required
- Any other duties required to assist in supporting the achievement of Company objectives

Education and/ or Experience:
- Graduate level with previous experience in a similar marketing role
- Project management experience essential
- High degree of fluency with MS Office
