Daffodils, Narcissus spp.
Daffodils are classic spring flowers; they are admirably adapted to the British weather to survive harsh conditions. They have vibrant yellow flowers, adding a hint of colour to gardens across the UK. There are 250 species of daffodils supplying assorted colours and early and late flowering types. They make a perfect addition to any flower bed, only requiring a well-drained flower bed with access to full sun.

Primrose, Primula vulgaris
Primrose is native to Britain and is an extremely loved spring flower. During spring, it blooms charming pale-yellow petals decorated with ornate green leaves. Ideally, a primrose would be best grown in fractional shade and damp soil. Primrose thrives among forget-me-nots and snowdrops without competition for natural resources.

Giant Sunflower, Helianthus giganteus
The Giant sunflower is the tallest species of sunflower. It has a generous surface area on its flower head to attract pollinators such as the honeybee; the middle is scattered with edible seeds that humans, pollinators and birds consume. To help your sunflower strive, a support beam may need to reach maximum height. Sunflowers prefer a sunny, sheltered spot with healthy soil.

Marigold, Tagetes
Marigold plays a significant role in your back garden ecosystem by luring backyard pests away from your other plants and attracting predators that will predate the problems.
