Our 2022 Hozelock Brand Ambassadors have now been announced! This year Hozelock will once again be partnering with a group of online gardening experts and enthusiasts to help you get more out of your garden. Each ambassador will offer advice and guidance on how to use our products throughout the spring and summer months.
Amy - @chicksandveg
Amy started her gardening journey a few years ago having moved to a new home with an overgrown and unloved garden. After the loss of her best friend, she turned to her garden as a way to keep her mind and hands busy. Her love of gardening has become her favourite (and most committed) hobby and she truly believes everyone should experience that feeling of harvesting homegrown veg and picking beautiful blooms.
Niall - @niallgardens
Niall grew up regularly gardening and growing fruit and vegetables, whether it was picking strawberries from his grandparent’s greenhouse or Sunday afternoons visiting gardens, and it is a hobby he regularly returns to. Now with his own garden in the Irish countryside and YouTube channel ‘Niall Gardens’, it’s become, in his own words, a daily obsession.
Steve - @ten_sea_view
Steve’s introduction to gardening began at an early age, when his grandmother would take him into the garden and educate him on growing vegetables. Other family influences include his father, who would grow tomatoes and cucumbers in their greenhouse and he has fond memories of watching them grow from seeds to vegetables. Steve developed an interest in flowers, which he was able to explore after buying a greenhouse for his first home and he is currently enjoying the process of growing roses and climber plants.
Diana - @growing_greenfields
Diana stumbled into gardening having moved to a new home with a garden that was beautiful but unkempt. Although her gardening experience was minimal, she decided to start a small kitchen garden where the previous owners had one. Fast forward five years and Diana grows a variety of vegetables and flowers, with gardening her favourite pastime. This year, she hopes to grow enough of her families’ staple vegetables to see them through the winter months, without having to buy from the supermarket.
Danni - @plot.81
Danni started growing outside when she ran out of space for her collection of houseplants and despite only having a small patio courtyard, she grew a variety of tomatoes, strawberries, rhubarb and salad in pots – which got her hooked. Looking ahead to this year, Danni hopes to grow her very first watermelon.
Lydia - @yourorganicpt
Gardening has always been a part of Lydia’s life, having been raised on a smallholding. Over the years, the practice has come in and out of her life and she takes pride in dedicating herself to a lifetime of continuous learning. This year, she is excited to finish working on her new greenhouse and establishing some of the plants in there this season.
